Keni Rienks is a high school science teacher from Wilmington, NC. She is advisor to her school’s green club and coaches their National Ocean Science Bowl team. Keni’s greatest passion is the ocean and she spends her time outside of school advocating for it. She serves on the executive board for the Cape Fear Surfrider Foundation, and Keni is the co-director of the 1st International Marine Kids Congress. She is also the executive director of the Wilmington Climate Symposium.
Keni is also a graduate student at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment where she is pursuing a Masters of Environmental Management degree.
