Tai’Juon Walls

Conference Intern

Tai’Juon Walls is currently a Junior attending Viera High School in Viera, Florida. Besides his studies, he enjoys playing video games and outdoor photography. WYSE 2018 was an absolutely amazing experience for him in which he will never forget. While currently he is dabbling in the art of online streaming, after high school, he plans to attend medical school to become a cardiovascular surgeon.

Rebecca King

Conference Intern

Rebecca King is a Florida resident and has been a member of 4H for six years, growing her love for science and animals. She attended WYSE in 2018 and has used the knowledge she gained to be a better person. Rebecca is now an intern for her United States Representative’s office, helping to better her community. Furthermore, she is prepping to learn more about what she can do to help our planet by pursuing conservation biology in college.

McKenzie Moore

Conference Intern

McKenzie Moore is a senior at Douglas High School in Douglas, Wyoming. She is very excited to be a part of the youth advisory board and make this incredible experience just as amazing, if not more, for the 2019 WYSE group! In her small school, she is involved in band as section leader of the flutes, in cheerleading as team captain, in academic challenge, and in FBLA. As part of her activities when possible, McKenzie has volunteered for many different programs and events. In college she hopes to pursue a major that focuses on the environment and making a change.

Austin Carroll

Conference Intern

Austin Carroll is a senior at Drumright High School in Drumright, Oklahoma. He was a member of the green group this past summer and has always been a “tree hugger” according to his family. For the past eight years, he has been a licensed Oklahoma wildlife breeder and rehabilitator specializing in waterfowl, in particular Aix sponsa or more commonly known as the North American Wood duck. WYSE reignited his passion for the environment and he hopes to be attending George Mason in the fall of 2018 to pursue a degree in environmental science.

Taylor Rutter

Conference Intern

Taylor Rutter is a Junior at White Oak High School in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She is a member of many organizations, including Music Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Interact, Photography Club, and FCA. She is also the Vice President of Green Team, which is an environmental awareness organization and one of the largest student led groups on campus. During her free time, Taylor enjoys playing the french horn, reading, writing, and spending as much time as possible riding horses and being at the barn. WYSE helped Taylor find the path she wants to take after high school, which is going to college to study in environmental science and education.

Gabrielle Chapman

Conference Intern

Gabrielle is a Junior at Bay High School in Panama City, Florida. She attended WYSE as a delegate in 2016, and is thrilled to come back as an intern for WYSE 2017. Gabrielle lives near the Gulf of Mexico and enjoys scuba diving to see the marine life in her area. She also spends her time studying for school, being active in school clubs, and playing volleyball. She has always cared deeply about the environment and plans to major in Biology in college. Gabrielle cannot wait for WYSE 2017 and all of the new opportunities it will bring her as an intern. She is excited to share her passion for the environment with those attending this year’s Summit.
