Christine Segnari

CHRISTINE SEGNARI

Christine Segnari is currently a senior at Christ Chapel Academy in Virginia. Christine would like to study Meteorology and Wildlife Conservation and eventually earn a combined Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Marine Wildlife Conservation. Christine enjoys taking dance classes, playing the violin, and being an Ambassador in Girl Scouts. Christine wants the 2020 WYSE Delegates to experience the same happiness, confidence, and learning opportunities that she did during her time at WYSE last year.

Searrah Bierker

SEARRAH BIERKER

Searrah Bierker is a senior at Hampton High School who enjoys running cross country and track, leading the environmental club as President, participating in National Honor Society as Vice President, and volunteering her time at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium over the summer. She recently had the opportunity to conduct field research in Yellowstone National Park through the organization Ecology Project International and fell in love with the work. She hopes to attend a four year college and major in environmental science.

Zachary Holmes

Zachary is currently a senior at George Mason High School in Falls Church, VA. Outside of school he is helping the community by volunteering at homeless shelters and even serving on city boards concerning the environment. After high school he plans to go to college and study environmental studies with the hope of working for a environmental organization in the nations capital. Zachary attended WYSE 2018 as a delegate from Virginia and had a fantastic experience.

Kaylie Malloy

Kaylie is a junior at Chardon High School, which is outside Cleveland, Ohio. She is involved in NHS, Interact Club, Writing Club, Spanish Club, Fca and many more. When she isn’t at school she is playing tennis or at her Church. She was a Delegate in 2018 and can’t wait to provide to upcoming Delegates the amazing experience she had at WYSE!

Haley Paul

Conference Intern

Haley is currently a Junior at Hurricane High School in Hurricane, West Virginia. At HHS, Haley is a member of several clubs, the most relevant of which being her school’s Environmental Club, where she serves as the Historian. Haley is also involved in her school’s marching band and show choir, where she performs as an instrumentalist. In her free time, Haley is an avid reader and stays very involved in her community. Haley attended WYSE in 2018 as a delegate and was able to discover her passion for Environmental Science through the immersive and inspiring experience provided by the seminar.

Meghan Campbell

Meghan is an avid hiker, backpacker, author, musician, and more. She enjoys spending time outdoors in the local Appalachian region by camping with her family, hiking with her dog, or biking through the mountains. After high school, she hopes to study environmental sciences and macroinvertebrate aquatic ecology. Her goal is to spend her life surrounded by nature and helping to protect it.

Tai’Juon Walls

Conference Intern

Tai’Juon Walls is currently a Junior attending Viera High School in Viera, Florida. Besides his studies, he enjoys playing video games and outdoor photography. WYSE 2018 was an absolutely amazing experience for him in which he will never forget. While currently he is dabbling in the art of online streaming, after high school, he plans to attend medical school to become a cardiovascular surgeon.

Jordan Fuentes

Jordan Fuentes is currently a senior at North Babylon High School in Long Island, New York. Jordan loves to touch lives and make his impact on the world through the power of service above self. He has executed many service projects including a month-long clothing drive for the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless and a park grounds clean up at Belmont Lake State Park. He’s your curly-haired nature loving guy from LI that’s more than ready to do his part in making WYSE 2019 an experience that’ll make you say, “Wow, where has WYSE been all my life?”

Eman Nazir

Eman Nazir is currently a senior at Lahore Grammar School Defence (Pakistan). As a WYSE 2018 Alumna, her passion of creating a more sustainable environment only continues to grow. She is driven with the countless discoveries and opportunities our world has to offer, and as a representative from Pakistan she aims to instill this very drive amongst not only her country but all across the world.
She believes it is time to make a difference, and being apart of this change means the world!
