Tess is a rising sophomore at George Mason University who is currently majoring in Environment and Sustainability Studies with a minor in Visual Art. As a freshman Tess was involved with the Sustainability LLC on campus where she spent a lot of time volunteering with the Office of Sustainability working in the Potomac Heights Vegetable Garden and the President’s Park Hydroponic Greenhouse. Off campus, Tess found her happy place at Merrifield Garden Center where she helps the community learn about everything from flowers to vegetables. When she’s not working on sustainability related projects you can find Tess lounging in a coffee shop reading the latest New York Times best seller.
