Michael Chase

Michael Chase is currently working as an independent researcher with the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on a project regarding palm oil education. He is the cofounder and president of his school’s ECO club and is a member of NHS, SCA, and FFA Chapters. When he is not doing schoolwork or going to club events, you can find him running in the trails, on the track, and on the roads training for cross country. Next year he hopes to attend Cornell University to double major in pre-veterinary & environmental science. He hopes to use this background to go onto vet school at Cornell to earn a DVM and a Ph.D. in wildlife conservation. WYSE 2017 led Michael to become more passionate about his interests in protecting the environment and helped him to focus on his specific career path, and he looks forward to helping make this possible for this year’s delegates as well.
