Brianne Nakamura, P.E. is a second-generation water engineer with more than a decade of experience in the water industry. She is currently the Global Product Manager of Pipeline Monitoring Solutions for Xylem’s Pure Technologies brand. Previously, she served as Open Innovation Manager at Xylem Innovation Labs, where she led technology scouting and evaluation, managed open innovation ecosystem partnerships, and supported both the Xylem Partnerships Accelerator cohort and XIL’s external marketing and communications.

Before joining Xylem, Bri was the Practice Leader of Innovation at the Water Environment Federation and worked as a design engineer focused on municipal wastewater projects. In 2022, she was recognized as the Water Environment Federation’s Outstanding Young Professional. Bri holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, D.C.
