BRIANNA WAGNER

Brianna was a delegate of WYSE in 2012 and was inspired to pursue a career in conservation. She earned her bachelors degree in Environmental Conservation Biology from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma and her Masters in Urban Ecology and Sustainable Design from Unity Environmental College in Unity, Maine. While studying she found a passion for community outreach and in protecting local habitats. Her master’s project focused on community participation in increasing native pollinator habitats. She currently works as a School and Community Engagement Educator at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium where, with the assistance of some of the zoo’s ambassador species, teaches children and other community members about zoology and conservation. She also shares her love of plants with others by creating artwork out of pressed and preserved plants. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and going on adventures with her german shepherd.
