TILIA AMES
WYSE Alum 2025, YAB
Tilia Ames, Class of 2026, loves any opportunity to network, collaborate, acquire knowledge, and mentor peers and younger students. During her high school years she has been able to do those things while participating in Cross Country, Track, and Flag Corps, as well as NHS, Key Club, Youth and Government, Class of 2026 Advisory, and Spanish Club. Collaborative groups, projects and conferences give the same rush of adrenaline and joy as rollercoasters, getting coffee with friends, exploring new music and being outside, a few things she enjoys in her free time. A fun fact about her that she always likes to share is that she attended a Spanish Immersion School and is fluent in Spanish, but she is always looking to learn more of the language and culture. She is interested in studying environmental science at a small town college not too far from her home in Mansfield, OH. As a 2025 WYSE alum, she wishes to share her amazing experience with the program and is excited to collaborate with peers and mentors on the Advisory Board to help make WYSE 2026 a great time for everyone!
Tommy Dunmire is an 11th grader from Alpharetta, Georgia. He is involved in both Math and National Honors Society, plays four Varsity sports, and is the president of both Aviation Club and Pickleball Club at his high school. He enjoys volunteering through a young men’s service organization in the community, and he is an intern at Georgia Tech, designing components for small-scale rockets. He would like to pursue Engineering in college and use his degree to design solutions to environmental issues. Tommy was a 2025 WYSE Youth Delegate and cannot wait to contribute to the success of future summits.
