Julia Rennels is a freshman at George Mason University pursuing Environmental Science. Outside of school, she spends her time caring for her menagerie of pets. Her favorite hobby is creating habitats for hermit crabs, fire bellied toads, and bearded dragons. She also owns and operates a successful pet sitting business. Julia is a WYSE 2022 alumna and returned to the program in 2023 as an intern. She thoroughly enjoys her time at WYSE and feels that WYSE encouraged her plans to study Environmental Science in college. Her most memorable experience was the trip to the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. She is exited to be returning to WYSE as a Junior Faculty Advisor in 2024!
