Sofia Myers is a current junior at La Plata High School in Maryland, and she hopes to study environmental studies and policy in the future. She participates in many extracurriculars at her school including varsity soccer, competitive swimming, NHS, Mock Trial, Envirothon, and It’s Academic. Sofia holds leadership positions in her school’s Key Club, Polyglot, and Science National Honor Society. Outside of school, she enjoys gardening, reading, running, and volunteering in her local community. She is a 2025 WYSE alum and can’t wait to make WYSE 2026 another unforgettable journey!
