Erin is a senior at Jackson Memorial High School, where she was first introduced to the concept of sustainability and environmental education as a freshman. Ever since learning about these topics, she has joined countless clubs and honor societies regarding the environment and has been eager to be outside and conduct research like a scientist would in the field. Growing up by the beach has always influenced her interests in the environment, as she regularly takes part in annual beach clean ups and turtle hatchings. When Eric goes to college, she plans to study anthropology and archeology to research the past lives of mankind and how we have affected the planet over time. She is looking forward to the next year of WYSE and helping other students find their calling, whether it may deal directly or indirectly with the environment.
