SUMMER KNIGHT
Junior Faculty Advisor
Born and raised in Deltona, Florida, they are currently double majoring in Marine Science and Ecology at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. When not immersed in academic pursuits, they can be found honing their skills with their competitive dance and Colorguard team. Despite their busy schedule, they also enjoy reading books, painting and crocheting and is part of Kappa Alpha Omicron honors society and the Environment sustainability LLC. She is super excited to be part of the summit again after attending as a candidate in 2022, and hopes to make an impact and have fun!
Cal is a rising junior at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and is pursuing a degree in political science and a degree in public policy. After graduation his career goal is to work in international politics and hopefully be an ambassador or some other form of representative. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, theater, and magic the gathering. He attended WYSE in the summer of 2021 and had a fantastic experience. As a JFA, he hopes to help the event run smoothly so that other people can have that great 
Eva Bramesco is the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and the Director of the University Scholars Program here at George Mason University. Beginning with her involvement in the admissions office at her alma mater, Eva has spent over a decade working with students and families of all backgrounds to overcome the various hurdles of the college admissions process. In her role as Associate Director, Eva supports students before they even apply, all the way through their decision making process. Eva is also responsible for Honors College enrollment and the university’s only full-tuition scholarship program, and loves working closely with Mason’s most motivated and ambitious students. 
Lucy Johnson is from Rochester, New York and is currently a rising sophomore at George Mason University studying Government and International Politics with an interest in environmental policy. Outside of academics, she is a member of the school dance team, Zeta Tau Alpha, and is the Vice President of Events for Mason Ambassadors. She is excited to work her first summer with the Washington Scholars Program!
Emma Taylor is a rising junior from Charlotte, North Carolina who currently attends Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Political Science major and an Anthropology/ Sociology minor on the pre-law track. At Rhodes, she participates in Mock Trial as a captain, serves as a campus tour guide, works in the Financial Aid office, and is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She looks forward to her third summer on George Mason’s campus!
Jacob is a rising Sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences with a minor in Geographical 
Allyson is the Education and Program Support Specialist with one of Virginia’s Soil and Water Conservation Districts. There, she leads all education and outreach programming on behalf of the district and works with agricultural landowners and homeowners to install best management practices for local soil and water quality. While studying at James Madison University, she got involved in local food production and conservation. This led to a career focused on environmental education where she has worked in school and community gardens, food access, agriculture, and K-12 science curriculum development. Outside of her work, she manages her local farmers market and community garden. Allyson is also an avid gardener, loves to cook and spend time outside with her husband and son.
