Gabriela Ramos-González

Gabriela Ramos-González is a junior from Caguas, Puerto Rico where she attends Notre Dame High School. Interested in the environment from a young age, she conducted a six-phase continuation investigation on the effects of groundwater hydrocarbon contamination on plants that gave her the opportunity to be an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair observer for two times. Member of the National Society of High School Scholars, her school’s Spanish Oratory League and Math Club, she also studies the classical violin. In her free time she enjoys practicing her photographing skills, going on road trips around her tropical island and learning about new cultures. Thanks to her experiences in WYSE 2017, Gabriela developed a strong interest for environmental law and met many extraordinary people.
